iTop Email Notification Setup


In this video, I’ll show you how to set up iTop Email Notifications. The greatest free helpdesk ticketing solution on the market is iTop. It’s an open-source ITSM software that includes a full Helpdesk Ticketing System.

This video shows you how to set up iTop’s Email notification. When we file a support ticket, an email notification is necessary to alert the concerns when the issue is resolved, escalated, or closed by a support agent. The iTop Email notice should be correctly designed, such as who desires which ticket. For example, when a client creates a ticket, an email sent to him for confirmation is not as important as it is for a manager who needs the ticket creation alert. As a result, we must determine who will receive which notification.

For resolving customer support issues, we need to properly build the IT helpdesk ticketing system. We are required to configure Email notifications after setting up the iTop organization to alert the helpdesk assistance problems. The final portion, the iTop dashboard, will be configured later. We needed to create a customer service-oriented customer assistance solution. A team of helpdesk support professionals and a manager will be required to allocate and monitor customer support tickets. In addition, the manager will be responsible for troubleshooting helpdesk tickets.

IT Service Management, often known as ITSM, is made easy with iTop. However, I’ve only discussed the helpdesk ticketing system in this tutorial series.
